I do like this place but it did take a long time to get waited on and had to ask the hostess to get us a waitress or waiter. Was out of a lot of food we asked for unfortunately for us but we arrived at 8pm so if you arrive earlier you get more choices. What we did get was good! Wings, extra crispy in sweet Thai chili sauce and peel and eat shrimp. Entertainment was really good!
Excellent alligator bites! The view is awesome, especially at sunset. Waitstaff was all friendly and attentive. I would absolutely dine here again in the future.
We had the best time here last weekend. Joni, the manager, is one of the kindest people around. She fawned over my kiddos and then bought some Rainbow Loom bracelets from my daughter and her friend. Then she went above and beyond again and helped my son sell his 3D printed fidgets! (We had no intention of selling anything at this place.) Bonus is they have a great view of the lake, gators, birds and turtles. The food is delicious (esp the crab cakes) and our server Tabitha was so incredibly patient and on her game. We will be back! Thank you!
Great meal tonight. Heat index 109 but the fans on the deck kept us comfy. I had blackened shrimp with veggies
I'm a city girl, so when I pulled up and saw the place looked a little sketchy, I'll admit I was a bit worried. But don't judge this book by its cover! The staff are great and the food is excellent. The grouper bites platter was so massive I couldn't even finish half of it, and the mussels were huge for the price. Great portions, great flavor, just go in knowing it's a backwoods, old Florida kind of spot, and you'll have a great time.
