Ross Street Plaza & Stage is downtown Salmon Arm's outdoor gathering place, an open-air plaza and performance stage at Ross Street and Hudson Avenue. Through the summer the stage hosts free concerts, including Saturday evening bands and Downtown Live jazz nights during Salty Street Fest, when nearby merchants stay open late. The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society also uses the plaza as one of its outreach venues, and the plaza is a designated stop on Downtown Salmon Arm's busking route. With the downtown's shops and cafés a few steps away, it is a natural place to catch live music on a warm Shuswap evening.
