We are from the Boston north end and this Italian food is top tier! Best meal we’ve had since moving to Tampa! Excellent chicken parm. And highly reccomend the vodka sauce with Italian sausage. Ambiance and live guitarist was great. Waitress was amazing. I can’t say one bad thing about this place. My pictures don’t do it justice.

Sandro took care of us. Not the warmest service but efficient. Guitar player was a great touch. This is not a place to come for a bar setting mostly a dining room. The rsvioli were delcious and the ossobuco extremley tender. Sandro mixed up a nice manhattan for us. Going out is expensive these days and the quality isnt always there, but at Vlaggio they prodive a good product for the cost. Thanks for your service.

One and done!! And I really didnt want to finish the one. I had been looking forward to celebrating my birthday dinner at your establishment after driving by for years, but the evening was a terrible experience from start to finish. We arrived at 6:30 PM and stood at the entrance for nearly 10 minutes before being acknowledged, which only seemed to happen because the entryway was filling up with other guests. Although there was a lively main dining area with live music, we were seated entirely by ourselves in a separate room, completely segregated from the rest of the restaurant. The service was unacceptably slow. By 8:00 PM, we still had not received our food. When I found our server to request the check for our drinks so we could leave, she refused and stated the chef was preparing our meals. When the food finally arrived, it was very poor quality; the chicken was overcooked and the ravioli portion was remarkably small. Really every dish was terrible. This ruined my birthday celebration with my children, and we could not leave quickly enough. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve your service and food quality.

Made a reservation for my 24th birthday for 8 people ahead of time. Arrived at the restaurant and had to wait ~10 minutes for the table to be ready. Once seated, was greeted by a female server who introduced herself and said she’ll be back for our order. All of a sudden, we have a new male server (Rob) who introduced himself as our server and started to take our drink order. He got 3 drinks in and walked away, we had 8 people. I had to flag him down to get his attention for the other 5 people in our party to order drinks. Eventually our food order was being taken, and he forgot to take the order of the last person in our group with a menu still in hand. Had to flag him down for that as well. Food took at least 35 minutes to come out. Rob passed by once and asked “all good” and that was the last we saw of him until we needed to flag him down for checks. He did bring a tiramisu and sang happy birthday. Checks were brought, and he said “checks aren’t meant to be split so i did the best i could.” There were items left off, checks not combined, and items on bills that shouldn’t be there. The extra items weren’t noticed until after because of the mess to begin with. Once we had our checks back, he came back with 3 more receipts and told us we can figure out these checks because they were left over. In the meantime, he’s huffing and puffing at the POS machine. He then disappeared again and we had to ask a busser to get our server after 5-10 min of waiting. The bills were paid and we were headed out. I asked for a manager on our way out and the manager (Chris) was standing by the host stand. I told the manager that we had some of the worst service i’ve experienced in a long time. I’m not sure if it’s because there’s a predisposition when a server sees a group of younger guests, but you don’t know who I am, how I tip, or what I’m even dining at your restaurant for. The manager seemed shocked that happened, and offered to fix the extra items charged on the one bill. Told us to come back and ask for him to receive “excellent service”. Excellent service should be the standard, not a favor. Unfortunately we won’t be returning and it’s even more unfortunate that what could’ve been a nice evening for my birthday was ruined.

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone reading some of these reviews. The food tasted like it was from a can straight off a Sysco truck. Very inauthentic, so much so, that I was blown away the servers from Italy were willing to stand behind the product. We wish the restaurant well, my husband and I love to see non-chain businesses succeed, but every meal ordered by my entire family was truthfully awful.
