SASCU Recreation Centre is Salmon Arm's main community recreation hub, operated by the Shuswap Recreation Society for the City of Salmon Arm at 2550 10th Avenue NE. The aquatic centre features a six-lane, 25-metre pool with a Tarzan rope swing, a wading pool for little ones and a hot tub, plus swim lessons and aquafit classes. On the dry side, there is a fitness and weight room, a 5,800-square-foot gymnasium and auditorium with a stage, squash and racquetball courts, and meeting rooms for rent. Drop-in sports like pickleball, volleyball and badminton run through the week, and the pool's Party Zone hosts children's birthday parties.
Seasonal program and drop-in schedules change through the year and aren't listed here — the centre's team can claim this listing to add current schedules and rental details.
