Sanctuary Games is a board game café and hobby store on Alexander Street NE in downtown Salmon Arm. The concept is simple: pay a flat fee, pick any game from the library and play — and everything on the shelves is for sale too. The store stocks board games, trading card games like Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering, role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons, plus anime and manga, and serves bubble tea and milkshakes while you play. It opened in 2019 on Hudson Avenue, moved to this larger Alexander Street space in 2022, and has since added sister stores in Regina and Moose Jaw.
The store's weekly event schedule — game nights, tournaments and learn-to-play sessions — isn't listed here. The owners can claim this listing to post event nights and current play-fee details.
