You can't miss the Treble Clef: a 45-foot (14-metre) orange treble clef sculpture rising over Lakeshore Drive at the foot of Alexander Street in downtown Salmon Arm. Recognized as the world's largest treble clef, it was spearheaded by local developer Bill Laird, built with local trades and businesses, and unveiled in November 2019 beside his Shuswap Park Mall. The sculpture carries the first four notes of O Canada, stands over a piano-keyboard awning, and has become the city's musical mascot — it even dresses up as a ghost for the Halloween Treat Trail. In October 2025 it was voted Canada's Top Landmark in Municipal World's Great Canadian Landmark Contest.
